This session addresses Safety Performance Improvement through Leadership and Management Methods and its impact on Risk Management, Cost Containment, Continuous Improvement. The presenter has led five medium sized manufacturing businesses from very poor safety results and performance to world class results in each case over a 24-36 month period. Previously, he had global safety responsibility for a $2 Billion organization with 50 factories in 16 countries. The focus has been largely on creating a culture of care and concern, diligence and excellence. The speaker will also discuss the linkage between safety, quality and productivity and why the safest organizations are often higher quality manufacturers with superior productivity.
