- The panel will explain their winning approach. It's a build-borrow-buy strategy that pairs a handful of external AI/data specialists with structured reskilling of the controllers and FP&A analysts who already understand the business, since institutional judgment is the harder thing to replace.
- Acquiring and developing AI and digital talent has become finance leaders' single largest near-term challenge, ahead of budget pressure or technology cost. The bottleneck isn't ambition, it's capability.
- The gap shows up in results: finance executives want AI to drive efficiency gains, yet they say they haven't realized a return on their AI investments in finance. Most of that shortfall traces back to teams that can run a model but can't yet turn its output into a defensible decision.
